What is POWH3D (proof of weak hands)?
Hi everyone, it seems that POWH3D is gaining popularity these days.
I will try in this post to simply explain what is POWH3D and how it works.
POWH3D is a pyramid scheme, but it is not a scam.
It seems to be a pyramid scheme because every user is getting paid for the users that join later. And as with every pyramid scheme if suddenly no more users join anymore, pyramid collapses and no one is getting paid anymore.
But, unlike investment engines like Bitconnect, Powh3D is managed by a smart contract entirely, so it is completely decentralized ecosystem. There is no human involvement in managing the Ethereum at all.
Every trade of POWH3D tokens, buy or sell, has a 10% flat transaction fee applied. Instead of this fee going to the exchange, the fee is split between all currently held tokens as ethereum rewards that you can instantly withdraw whenever you'd like.
Basically the POWH3D token's transfer system is designed to automatically take 10% of all traded tokens (even if the trades occur outside the contract itself), melt them into ETH, and hand it out to the token holders.
Earlier you start owning tokens the better as you will be at the bottom of the pyramid and you will earn more of the 10% accumulated pot!

If you actually look on their website they said that their project is made possible by bitconnect amongst other scams. This is a scam.
You must be reading a fake website. This project has nothing to do with bitconnect and is totally decentralized, so how is a scam when everything is on the blockchain and there is no humans involved in managing the ethereum.
As you said POWH3D is pyramid scheme. A pyramid scheme is a scam. Also if you go the the website all the way on the bottom it says made possible by "bitconneee." on top of that they have a section that is labeled memes per hour. Surely your not taking these guys serious are you?
It is a legit pyramid scheme. You know your risks, it is transparent scheme, made on Ethereum contract, fully decentralized. It is made possible by many others as well as "bitconneee". Have a look at the same place where you saw "bitconneee", you will find there also Monero, Theter, Ripple and many others. So, yes I am taking this guys seriously.
