From Cracking Skulls to an Astrological Bitcoin Bull.
Former NFL running back and legendary pot smoker Ricky Williams is now advising you to buy Bitcoin! Once a star at Texas University and after bouncIng around the league, the former Heisman Trophy winner now considers himself as an "astrology expert ". Now this is an area I have very little knowledge in but many humans have said for thousands of years that the future can be tapped into by stars and planet movements.
For a man who used to hand out face ripping stiff arms on Sunday afternoons to advising people to buy Bitcoin because of plant movement is a very odd combination. Ricky spent time as a dedicated pot smoker, deep meditation specialist and briefly considered becoming a monk!
He was inevitably forced out of the league after a serious comeback due to his inability to abide by the NFL substance abuse policy on several occasions. It's 420 somewhere.
He was interviewed today by CNBC and was quoted as saying:
"When I look at things, I tend to look at astrology to get insight," says Williams, who tells CNBC Make It that his readings of astrological charts have pointed him in the direction of Bitcoin.
"The insight that got me interested in Bitcoin was the planet Uranus is about to enter into Taurus," says Williams.
Uranus, he explains, "is about revolution; it's about a change in the way we do things; it's about innovation." And Taurus "is about resources and finances," says Williams.
I don't know if Sticky Ricky really knows something we don't about Bitcoin but the fact that he likes it so much to study it and connect it to astrology is interesting. Let's hope he's right and everyone of us is already in position to take advantage of not only a paradigm shift but also the plantets shifting me directly into the sales lot of Lamboland! Did you watch the ESPN 30 for 30 on him? It was really well done. I've always liked the guy and appreciate that he followed his own path instead of following the norm. I think people gave him a bad rap and don't understand the wear and tear they threw at him.
LMFAO! Ricky has always marched to the beat of his own drummer, but to my knowledge never hurt anyone off the field. He just did things his own way. He's always been true to himself and you can say he was ahead of his time when it came to the use of weed. Few people are invested in bitcoin, so you can also say he is ahead of his time on that too. Good for him. If he puts a decent amount of his portfolio in bitcoin, he is less likely to end up broke than the typical star athlete.
It's such a shame he wasn't able to finish his career because of weed. He would have been all time! I'm glad he's still fighting to make weed a legal drug in the NFL. They need to get over that shit and let these boys smoke. They are literally putting their bodies on the line every day they suit up. Let them have some relaxation!

Ahhh, Ricky... His career went up in a puff of smoke. The biggest thing I will remember from Ricky is how he was able to flip the bird at the NFL and while being suspended he came up to Canada and played in the CFL. This led to an NFL rule change so I guess he can take credit for that as well. A bitcoin guru? Hmmmm Run Ricky Run!!!!
