Couple of S9s
After a few months of waiting our s9s arrived from China! This first batch of 6 was ordered in November direct from Bitmain and arrived much sooner then we expected. I have to admit I was a little nervous ordering from China without buyer protection but with the price of s9s in hand above 6k it was by far the best option. Each unit landed came out to around $2500 USD with power supply and import fees, not bad!
This batch was set to arrive Jan 22nd but to our surprise, they landed very early on Jan 4th sending us into an all-out frenzy to construct a mining room to house them. We were lucky enough to have a friend that lent some warehouse space to take advantage of industrial power and appropriate amperage. To my surprise just 6 of these bad boys nearly pulls as many amps as a house!
Finally the room was set! Now time to install the powa. 200 amp service will do for now :)
With the room constructed and power set we were ready to bring in the units!
