You said we should "research the crap out of" the coins before we buy them.
However, I would warn about focusing only on technical analysis. It is always important to also learn about the fundamentals, and about the worldwide context.

as i think its not a big dip, all good bank and orginations collect more coins through this dip situation and soon it will rise, all rumors will diy when btc go to moon again..

Market definitely feels different this time around but underlying factors that lead to the rise in values are still there. The technology will lead to a new age of digital commerce so do homework to determine the best projects and chose your price points to start dollar cost averaging in.
