• Bitcoin briefly touched the 11k resistance point today but promptly fell back down, now at around 10,800
• Bitcoin is still in the green for the past 24hrs, whereas most of the other top 10 are slightly in the red
• As a result BTC dominance has been generally trending upwards since january, now at 40% of total market cap
• Yesterday’s release of segwit support coupled with more exchanges adopting segwit is likely contributing to the cryptocurrency’s growth over the past couple of days

• Twitter Scammers Use Verified Accounts to Trick Crypto Holders

A lot of scammers on twitter. One thing they do is use verified accounts and change the name to impersonate existing accounts of famous people. “Twitter rules mandate that accounts lose their verified status when they change their names, but several fraudulent accounts have managed to maintain their verification badges, which are signified by a blue check mark next to the account's handle.”

• Coinbase is Sending 13,000 Customer Records Over to the IRS

Coinbase will comply with a judge’s ruling in a California federal court to share customer data of 13,000 of its users with the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS). The IRS was most concerned with accounts with at least $20,000 “in any one transaction type,”
