Is Greed Crippling Crypto?

A major part of the world woke up to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies only after the meteoric surge in the price of bitcoin in December 2017. It is now equated with gold, and like gold, cryptocurrencies bring along their shadow portion, greed.

The year 2018 could be called the Year of the ICOs. Billions were raised from the poorest to the richest to fund projects that were simply a few pages of whitepapers containing dreams, wishes and revolutions.

It is not hard to figure out that a 'revolution' isn't what these businesses really want, but their million dollars.

Behind the crypto ICOs, trading and projects is a businessman - and a businessman just wants to do business. Always.

Meanwhile, hacker were busy doing their work. This year has brought some sanity to the moon and lambo seekers, hopefully. The thing about bullish sentiments is that nothing, no amount of realistic thought, dents their frame of mind.

This can be witnessed in Telegram groups of these projects. It’s like a carnival. A carnival of fools.

An interesting article in Steemit talks a little more about the situation:

Not all the crypto investors are in the market for the long haul, they are merely trading this market for fast gains.
