Russian prepares law to legalize Bitcoin and cryptocurrency

Russian finance ministry is working on a bill to legalize Bitcoin and criptomoedas , which is expected by the end of the year. Both the finance ministry and the central bank are developing proposals on their legalization in the Russian Federation. The finance minister proposes to treat criptomoedas as federal loan titles, available to individuals.

Earlier this month, the bank issued a warning statement on digital coins as well as initial currency offerings (ICO). The bank said it is premature to admit that crypto-coins and any other financial instruments related to circulation and use in organized talks in Russia.
