SmartBillions - worlds first blockchain lottery fails to the hacker attack!
The upcoming blockchain lottery SmartBillions issued a hackathon - a challenge to compromise a smart contract and swap the 1500 etherium funds from it. Their first try failed!
Two hackers were able to withdraw 200 ETH from the contract! After that the dev team moved the remaining funds and issued a new 1500 ETH challenge. Now that is what you call an epic fail.
They should have checked their coding twice. Lets hope that their teams second try is more successful.
