As we mentioned on this website yesterday, Bitcoin debit cards seem to be an emerging trend in the world of cryptocurrency. While everyone wants to spend their Bitcoin wherever and whenever they can, it is a good to see several companies take notice and try to make that dream become reality. However, there are also companies out there with less than honest intentions, preying on novice Bitcoin users by offering them something that just isn’t possible.

Offering reloadable debit cards which can be funded with Bitcoin is an interest technological prospect for years to come. However, there are always certain risks involved when applying for one of those debit cards. Most companies reduce those risks by requiring users to provide some form of identification, by submitting a government ID and a proof of address.
Red Flags All Across The Board
ExKash on the other hand, seems to be offering completely anonymous Bitcoin debit cards, which also come pre-loaded with US$50. Both of these facts throw red flags which everyone should be aware of. While there are anonymous reloadable debit cards in existence, which are usually issued in Eastern European countries, these cards are not reloadable with Bitcoin, but only fiat currency.
Having an instantly useable debit card preloaded with US$50 sounds a bit too good to be true, especially when you consider the cost of each debit card is just US$100. And the difference is price is not just the price for the Bitcoin debit card itself, as it also includes free worldwide express shipping through DHL or FedEx.
But if that isn’t enough to throw you off, just take a look at the website itself and you can see this is an obvious scam. I’m not saying you won’t receive a debit card in the mail at some point, but I highly doubt it will be reloadable with Bitcoin. The lack of other important information is worrying as well, such as exchange rates to reload the card, how long reloading the balance will take, et cetera, et cetera.
On top of that, there are several grammar mistakes to be found on the ExKash website. Things such as “we are premier service provider to worldwide customers” and “Our system is honest and afficient” are only throwing even more red flags when browsing through their website. All in all, this is not instilling any confidence to be honest.
To make things even worse, they are accepting a variety of payment methods in order to sell these “Bitcoin debit cards” as soon as possible. Bitcoin is supported of course, but you can also pay using OKPay, EgoPay and PerfectMoney. In doing so, it looks like this “company” is grasping at straws in order to trick as many as possible.
Worrying lack of ExKash reviews
While looking into ExKash a bit more, I thought it would be a good idea to look around for some reviews. After all, never judge a book by its cover, right? Unfortunately, no reviews have some up, except for one shady looking wordpress.com subdomain claiming this is one of the ebst sites ever. Other than that, there is a small thread on TalkGold, but no official review or user experiences were provided.
Do keep in mind I wasn’t just looking for a review of their Bitcoin services, but just a general “ExKash revew”, which yields no useable results. Considering their website allegedly exists for nearly 10 years now, it is very strange that not one single review has been published on the internet. then again, there are no negative reviews either, so take that fact with a pinch of salt.
Conclusion
The ExKash website just looks like a pure scam to me, and I would never advise anyone to order or use any of their services at any cost. Usually when someone proves you something that is almost too good to be true, it usually is. ExKash proves that point exactly, and I do hope no one has ever fallen for their “promises”.
