I think it's way past time for the alts to break away from BTC. I think BTC has become a problem. It's turned into a choke point of sorts. We need a way to easily, cheaply, and anonymously exchange fiat for alts. BTC has been the "on ramp" into the crypto ecosystem for to long. It needs to open up.
