Always Leaking, Always Refilling: Finance meets fluid dynamics. Here's why.

Sooner or later we will get our heads out our asses and realize that we are living a very important step in tech development. Cryptocurrencies are programmable money.
But, of course, whenever the word "money" comes about we tend to miss the rest of the sentence so let me put it this way:
Cryptocurrencies are programmable.

Information has become extremely fluid when flowing through Networks.
We no longer download our movies to watch them, we have them streamed to us and we never consider the discrete IP packets that are being routed through the Internet. We percieve the information we get as a steady flow.

With money we keep talking about payments and transactions but, the way I see it, we will soon move money through the Internet in very much the same way that we move IP packets.

Both ways:

If you work for someone else and you get paid by the hour, imagine a constant stream of money that will add up to your monthly pay.

Next, imagine the services you use (apartment rent, phone, electricity, running water, etc...) as money leaving your wallet right as you use it.

In this scenario, domestic economy becomes about just keeping some water in that bucket.
Keep pouring.
