Indonesia Driven to Develop Digital Currency
Bitcoin Indonesia CEO Oscar Dermawan said Indonesia needs to develop the Virtual Currency industry and Blockchain Technology in line with global trends in developed countries that make Bitcoin a tool of transaction or digital currency.
Such as the United States (US) and Japan that have provided arrangements to the industry engaged in the field of digital currency that there is standardization and protection for its users.
The US and Japan are not the only countries that have a special license for Virtual Currency exchanges. Previously, Luxembourg licensed the third-largest Bitstamp-Bitcoin Exchange in the world in April 2016. With the license, Bitstamp can operate legally in 28 EU countries So Europe becomes one of the continents that fully legalize Bitcoin transactions
