Following the Terra crisis, Bitcoin was trading modestly lower on Friday, outperforming other weak crypto assets. Altcoins sank dramatically despite the recovery in equity markets.

After breaking through the $28,000 barrier, bitcoin was trading slightly lower. The largest digital cryptocurrency was trading at $29,010.57 at 14.15 ITS on Friday, with tiny drops of less than 1%.

However, the crypto behemoth's volume increased by 47% in the last 24 hours, with Bitcoins worth $42.7 billion changing hands.
