Bitcoin is SKY ROCKETING! I did a post last week about the price being round 10 K, and everyone said it will crash, but IT HASNT!!! It is at the highest level right now and its crazy as it keeps growing!
I am like a sponge right now - sucking up as much information as i can!! This is so crazy, i have been involved in trading so much like never before, and it is soo exciting! For most of you this is how it started and why you got onto Steemit. For me I got onto steemit because I was passionate about food and wanted to do build the platform, but now I am also learning it all about crypto! Sooo crazy how life just guides you into different paths.
What crypto did you guys invest into?
Thoughts on Bitcoin? Can it reach 25 k by the end of this year? Before this seemed like a ridiculous claim.. but I dont think it is anymore!!! I am sooo hyped!! Comment your predictions on the price of Bitcoin by the end of december!
This month also sees the introduction of the futures from CMC and a couple of others.
A lot of people are saying this will increase speculation on Bitcoin and push the prices higher but i'm a bit more cautious.
Though the above is true the opposite will also be true. The big players who think Bitcoin is a bubble about to pop will be able to short the future which will put downward pressure on the price. As far as i know, it's the first real time this will be possible so who knows how it will play out.
I think there's another week till the official launch so we could be nudging $20k by then...
yeahh we are at 18 k updated!!! lol it will grow further, but yes its more suspicious!! !!

I think it has LOTS of potential to hit $25k by end of year. Just based on the rate of increase....though expect some dips as people cash out.
And if you noticed, STEEM is also going up! Yesterday it peaked at $2.41 and as of right now it's at $1.77.

FYI...BTC had a peak today of $18,464. That means, from 5 hours ago when you made this post, it's gone up $3k.

It is highly unlikely that Bitcoin will hit $25K by end of this year. January next year? sure.
You have to take in the consideration of milestones of $10K, $15K, $20K price point. With each of these milestones, people have set themselves a target to sell their part of or all of their holdings. Meaning lot of sell orders at this price point and the market will scale back a little and will eventually move up in day or two.
We saw this very recently at $10K milestone. As soon as BTC hit $10K, lot of sell orders were hitting the exchanges and for day or two we had a dip and BTC price was down to $8K.
I think the same thing will occur now with $15K and next $20K price point, and at $20K the correction will last little longer to drag us to the end of the year.
yeah it is a good analysis and could happen. however the 8 k drop you talking about lasted such a short time, and barely enough before people bought it back again - especially those that are professionals. But for sure people will sell at each big milestone, to be safe! we shall see what happens, i think by next year same time price could be in 40 k mark. The hype around it, will just spread further and further!
I think you are right. I'm seeing questions about it in my fb groups that are unrelated to money or crypto. I'm shocked by the new interest just in the last couple of weeks. The groups I'm in are for health, authors, artists, and social media marketing for the most part. There's posts like, "Hey what does everyone know about bitcoin?" And then we are off because someone always knows something.
People saying it is fake do not realize that those who hold it are actually spending it "just like money." They think you can only sell it in exchanges.
Once grandma's like me find out you can use a debit card and buy coffee with it - they want to try. I only have my steemit account right now, but I am trying to figure out this wallet thing and progress. If it's got me interested - that says a lot for the old lady contingent.
Same time next year.. Anything could happen. 40K. 100K Who knows?! :)

Yes at 15K and 20K there will be small pull backs, but what you are forgetting is that big fish and whales are just waiting to get in now, so at every small dip new big fish will get in and move the price up. Also remember the CME futures is being offered soon. People going into that marked would probably want to buy the underlying asset they are betting on.. That´s gonna be some huge money into BTC.
So I dont know. 25K for Christmas is not unrealistic.
But off course, a proper correction is not unrealistic either :)

Yes, It's indeed crazy. I think that there will be a pullback now. And then it will go back to 15,000$ and then keep growing.
