Unsuccessful Attempt of Robbery on Canadian Bitcoin Firm

There was a successful robbery in turkey last year but police caught the criminal. Some intelligent criminal do not do these kind of acts instead they either use hacking or ransomware. Criminals who find it difficult to hack you use common methods like robbery or kidnapping. This time the target was Canadian exchange located in Ottawa.

Three men armed with guns came into the building where the company operates and they tied four employees in an effort to force them to initiate a bitcoin transaction into their accounts. Thankfully they were unaware of the fifth employee who was smart enough to alert the authorities. However the gunman were able to flee away. The attempt to rob the financial institution was made during day time.

One of the suspect is under custody and he will be appear in court on Wednesday. Suspect will have to face multiple charges and these are all enough to keep him behind the bar for several years. One of the employee needed the medical attention as he was beaten by butt of a handgun by one of the suspect.
