Altcoins? No. Bitcoin. Yes.

So I've been thinking. All these altcoins, they look good. Great technologies, improvements, massive growth potential. But are they actually able of being money? They can be a currency, but can they be money?
Bitcoin hase some advantages. There is no company. There is a maximum amount of coins and its just in the wild, isn't that what we need? A currency where there is no group of people who are in control of it.
Also for a currency to be money, it has to be a possible safe store of value. A lot of altcoins are not and wont be cause they are some kind of project which has the possibility to fail.
