Mark Cuban Backs Cryptocurrency Fund After Saying Bitcoin Is a Bubble
Mark Cuban once doubted the cryptocurrency world in a tweet:
I think it's in a bubble. I just don't know when or how much it corrects. When everyone is bragging about how easy they are making $=bubble
But later changed his mind with another fairly recent tweet:
I might have to rewrite all these replacing stocks with $btc. Might have to finally buy some

Despite saying Bitcoin was a bubble in early June, Cuban has backed venture capital firm 1confirmation, according to Bloomberg. The firm not only has plans to invest some $20 million in companies developing blockchain technologies, but it also wants to invest in early stage companies before they head into an initial coin offering (ICO)—a fundraising effort in which the offering company issues tokens rather than ownership stakes.

A big name joining the party.
Interesting that his idea is to invest in the applications that are being built as opposed to the platform itself.
Indeed a big name and his fund approach is a strategic one; whereby they'll be focusing on companies that will be building applications and projects on the blockchain tehnology - basically entrepreneurs who are solutions oriented.
