Someone Tell them Bitcoin isn't Currency! And where is My Bitcoin Cash?

These people seem to think cryptocurrencies, even Bitcoin cash, are actually currency.

After inquiring about my Bitcoin cash I received this response - "We don't provide the private key and we don't support Bitcoin Cash. This is a Bitcoin Core wallet. We have always been this way and are not planning to change our ways"

Does that bitcoin cash just not enter circulation?
