TBH it doesn't look anything like Steemit at all from this trailer. Unless I am wrong it's just an app that enables to donate to the creator of a youtube video.
Fair call I was thinking more of steem (either from the white paper or video intro) rewarding content users in the system the way it does and not through donations/tips whereas Kim seems to be bringing up the tipping model for content again.
