BitBay Community Update - Jan. 21st, 2018
Good news: David has been in talks with Komodo (KMD) regarding their decentralized exchange, and we can confirm that BitBay will be listed on the Komodo Barterdex! More details will be released as they become available.
The Buy/Sell Anything Smart Contract Template is currently being tested. If all the details are ironed out we should have auction and reverse-auction functionality by the next update of the BitBay Market Client. This is a big step for BitBay — with the release of this new template, we can truly say we are a direct competitor to eBay. Plus — we will implement a shipping calculator as well!
Our trusty Project Manager, Shorn, will soon be transitioning to full-time work for the BitBay team. Hats off to him for all the work he has managed to do while being part-time! Furthermore, a few other part-time team members are also transitioning to full-time work on BAY — stay tuned. If you haven’t seen our team page yet, check it out!
To simplify the process of becoming a BAY community manager, we would like to direct any future applicants directly to this thread on the BitBay forum. Included is a quick-rundown of some positions we still need, and a basic outline of how bounties/compensations are awarded for these positions. While we may not need every language on Earth necessarily (yet), it is encouraged that any potential volunteer sift through this thread and if you notice that a language you speak is not listed, please post and reach out to us!
