Crypto holding movement tracker - Excel File
Most people have some software that they can use to review the movement in their crypto portfolio be it a manual spreadsheet they have or something like Blockfolio. Most of these work for the majority of users but some people prefer to set baselines and compare current holdings Vs. their historical holding, be it 1 hour ago or 5 weeks.
I personally have found myself refreshing Blockfolio too much and would prefer to see movement since last checked rather than movement in 24 hours as they display it.
The tool i have started to create aims to allow people to see this movement in their portfolio as well as what is causing the variance i.e. is it a change in holding, change in BTC price or a change in Coin Satoshi cost
The use usefulness will expand over the coming weeks based on the feedback and suggestions I receive.
If you wish to test the 1st draft version or have any helpful suggestion please let me know and i will assess for their merits and feasibility.
The tool is built and designed in Windows 10/Excel 2016 and uses a small amount of VBA
The VBA that has been used can be inspected in the file "modTables_v001.zip" prior to opening
The VBA is just designed for retrieving data from Coin Market Cap and saving the scenario
The tool is the file named "Crypto_Variance_Tool_v1.00_DRAFT01ac.zip"
By default i zip all files I send/upload

I have created something similar but instead of using VBA I have used excel Power query (get and transform data in Excel 2016) to connect to coinmarketcap
