CELEBRATING A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, HAPPY BIRTHDAY OGE.

So many years ago, I was a boy, and so much needed a companion but then I was alone and then felt the heavy pangs of loneliness even as a little boy because I had no one to play my little boy games with, I was just alone.

When I was seven, mummy's tummy began to increase and grow big and I knew a baby was coming; I was so happy and couldn't just wait to have the baby, I so much wanted a brother and so I was very excited that one was on the way.

On the 20th day of June, 1991, I came back from school to hear the good news that my mum has put to bed, and I was very happy, in fact the happiest being on earth just to learn that I have a baby, my long awaited partner is here.

I went to my dad and demanded to be taken to the hospital to see my little brother, but daddy told me I have a sister and not a brother, and I immediately became heartbroken, and started crying.

I cried and cried and when daddy tried pacifying me, I refused to listen to his reasons why I should love my baby sister, but all I kept saying was that I want a brother and not a sister. When daddy told me to follow him to the hospital so that I could at least see my mum even if I don't wanna see the new baby, I reluctantly agreed.

When I finally got to the hospital I went straight to mummy's bedside and asked her why she didn't give me a brother, and mummy said I shouldn't worry that the next one would be a boy, just that moment the baby started crying and I rushed over to the cot where she was laid.

It was a magical moment, as soon as I held her hands, she stopped crying and gave me this heart melting smile, and my God she was so beautiful, the most beautiful baby I've seen and my heart was melted.

I instantly fell in love and since then I have loved her dearly, my beautiful sister, my joy, my pride, she has been a very wonderful companion even till date. Even though I never got a brother as mummy promised I feel fulfilled having you.

The both of us have come a long way, the bond growing stronger every day, the bestest sister in the world.

Today I celebrate this woman, Miss Ogechukwu Patience Uluocha, it's another 365days gone and you have become stronger, wiser, better, and more accomplished.

As you just added another year to your years, I pray for more milestones in your life, I pray for a better you and I also pray for many more years to you.
