In our country, this bird is also known under the names: birdcherrier, red sparrow, lentiler. And in my opinion, the red sparrow is most suitable for this bird. Especially if you know what females and young birds look like.

Here, in this photo above, a female is depicted. As you can see, she has brown plumage, and she is very, very similar to the sparrows we are used to.
