The European pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca)

In the old days, this bird was called something like "birch dweller"
And it is not far from the truth. I often saw this bird in mixed forests. And it is on the trees of birch.

During the song, the male often shakes its wings, thereby attracting the female as much as possible.
This bird nests in hollows. Namely, in the old abandoned hollows of woodpeckers, in the grooves between the accrete trunks of trees, various rotten voids, deep crevices, as well as in nesting boxes.

It's been a while, but I am finally ready to record a skype call for podcast and am interested in having you as my first guest for a DSound episode. If you're still interested let me know at countyrarebirds-at-gmail-dot-com and we can set up a time for a skype call to record the episode. I think it would be a good way to promote Steemit, yourself and birding on this platform. Thanks.
