Ravens Learn To Clean Up Where People litter
An amusement park in France has trained ravens o clean up small pieces of litter and pick up cigarette stubs.
Ravens are often described as some of the smartest birds you get. The Puy du Fou theme park in Les Espesses found a practical and efficient use of the ravens intelligence.
The ravens have learned how to pick up cigarette stubs and other small pieces of litter, then load the litter into specially designed trash cans, that hand out pieces of bird food to reward the ravens for their hard work.
Six "feathered friends" were deployed during a trial run and more will be trained in the future as it seems that the practice run was extremely successful.
