Alice's: living in the rainforest #4 The Spangled Drongo

Hello Steemit,

The fourth bird from my tropical garden i'd like you to meet is the SPANGLED DRONGO. Isn't that a fantastic name? sounds like such a great insult!
Easy to identify from a silhouette with the distinct fishtail, solid black with blue shimmer from a distance, but beautifully speckled up close. Oh, and they have blood red eyes.

These guys are strong and hold their ground. (probably something to do with that dagger like beaks) They can learn to dive and catch food thrown into the air. (I don't like to do that because it frightens all the honeyeaters.) I still love having them in the neighborhood though. :)
