Blackbird singing a beautiful song on top of a tree
Blackbirds are one of the best singers here in Europe, you can often hear them singing in the morning just before sunrise and can hear their voice till the evening a bit after sunset. I really like their song, and they are very persistent singers that can sing several minutes or even hours. They have a very nice variety of different voices, but you will probably recognize and distinct their song very easiely from other birds.

Here are two videos with blackbirds singing in the evening. I took these videos from my window in my old flat and was happy to listen to this beautiful songs for various minutes. I miss these near nature encounters that I made there, but since I live in the City, it is not so common that a bird is actually singing in front of my window anymore. Even though there are some trees in the garden in front of my flat and a blackbird also nested last year there, I didn't hear it singing very often.
