Catching a Break from the Rain
Surf Scoter Melanitta perspicillata
Yesterday was a typically rainy spring day in Tacoma, but a short dry break in the morning allowed a bit of birding. I tried for some lingering birds on Commencement Bay, and managed good looks at common birds.
Male Barrow's Goldeneye Bucephala islandica
Female Barrow's Goldeneye Bucephala islandica
Pugetensis race of White-crowned Sparrow. Zonotrichia leucophrys
Good birding! Good day!
The rain has stopped and the sunshine is out in Midwest USA also.
