I thank you for using my photo. when i saw the spider with the dead bee. i did think for a minute. since its my first time to shoot such event with flies. as i read your article "death scent". it's deep information. as i understood it. the spider is using the bee to catch the flies due to the scent. clever spiders who likes to eat flies (Desmometopa).
Actually the spider doesn't catch the flies. It is the plant who imitates the scent of dying bees to attract the flies, arrest them and thus force them to pollinate it.
You have made a really great photo which shows how the dying/dead bee attracts the flies.
