SONG CHALLENGE: WHITNEY HOUSTON-TRY IT ON MY OWN
Almost every song from Whitney Houston seems to exude a whole lot of meaning if only one can sit tight and pay more attentions to the lyrics of the songs. It's bad to accept that such an amazing music legend, woman of substance like her is gone forever. Oh! death has robbed us all of a whole lot of great talent.
At least her legacy lives on. I'm a music enthusiast, whenever I stumble on beautiful music like this, I appreciate and play them over and over again because it only takes a talented person who are not easy to come by these days.
TRY IT ON MY OWN
It's a very deep song with sweet melody and of course amazing lyrics. It's one song that is easy and sweet to sing along.
Each time I listen to this song it excites and makes me want to believe more on myself and encourage myself believing that I can do a whole lot on my own not minding what struggles I might go through.
And I wish I can get hold of her and give her a hug and say words like "ma'am, you're just a whole load of inspiration to many like me". (that's only a wish)
If you think I'm kidding, I guess you should view the video above and you might just end up falling in love with her. She's just a great personality. And I love many of her song like When You Believe, Waiting to exhale and many others.
This music is talking about one not being afraid to try things on their own not minding what one has been though or told before about a thing, whether it is right or wrong, so long as one is keeping it real (which is what really matters) everything is going to work out just fine.
MORAL LESSON:
There's this saying about when one falls a million times and making sure one gets back up each time he/she falls. There's also a need to always pick something up while getting up. I learn from every mistakes I've made before and go ahead to correct them and I guess that's what has been keeping me alive and strong.
I love to try things on my own, even when people are scared to venture into such things. Doing things on your own make you a stronger person.
