The Biden administration just used the ATF to close the "gun show" loophole in regard to private exchanges of firearms.
So, I was sixteen when my dad bought me my .45 Long Colt at some random shop in Tombstone. I don't remember if the seller ran a background check; but, I'm pretty sure he did.
Still, even if you're completely off your rocker, and think that gun control, and a national gun registry should be a thing, and that independent transfers should be more heavily regulated, how are you not outraged by how these people are doing this?
This is blatantly anti-democratic.
They can't get this shit passed through the proper, legal methods of representative democracy; so, they're using a government agency that is entirely appointed, not elected, to pass a policy that will function as a federal, felony, law.
If the FCC suddenly declared a "policy" that saying certain words would land you in prison for ten years, without the law passing through the legislature, it would fundamentally be the exact same fucking thing.
