LISTENING, THE KEY TO BECOMING A GOOD BIBLE TEACHER

Don't rush !Much lies in listening well !
Here I was listening to one of my teachers
A man I had been listening to for at least the past 23 years
A teaching I had read the book (maybe 20-30 times )and preached from
I was paying much attention to a particular explanation and it took me to rewind the part 15( fifteen) times to understand a less than 5 minutes explanation!
This happened again last night, listening to another
But fewer rewinds ( just 10!)
Now I can see what some folks go through listening to some of us
Lesson learnt ?
As you grow more ,you pay attention more to details
A good teacher always emerges from a good student
My advise to the upcoming?
Don't be quick to teach or be called a teacher
Give your early years the responsibility of learning well
When well established men in bible doctrine teach ,don't try and assume
Listen again and again
Much lies and in patience
Don't listen to criticize or argue or prove another wrong
You will end up a fool
Bible teaching is also spiritual
Don't think it's compiling Greek words and scriptures
Much lies in listening well
I can tell you authoritatively.
