interesting the works of James Christensen, pretend that the viewer look in the paintings for his own message. Besides having a great artistic talent, his work catches you.
I can see in this work: The Good Shepherd, The Prodigal Son, The parable of the talents, The sower, The Good Samaritan, The wheat and the cizana, The ten virgins.
nice take on his work. i agree this work delivers a powerful message. it looks simple on the painting but the teachings behind them are so powerful. yes, you got some of the parables. there is 12 total!
I will continue observing the painting and looking for it, the ones that I lacked. I really liked that work.
