The Gospel of Matthew 06
The Sermon on the Mount continues in this chapter. We have many very important topics covered here. They range from WHO to pray to as well as what to think about how to structure & frame our thoughts in prayer. Also, our loving FATHER wants a personal & intimate relationship with you, HIS child. No need to go blabbing about how close you are o GOD, HE knows & is the only one WHO needs to know. Many more fantastic lessons for a CHRISTIan to know & live. So, please find your BIBLE & read it with us. We'd love to have you.
I find it silly that some people believe you should pray to Mary.
Thanks for the study. I see more people homeless now than ever before. And if they’re not homeless, they are on food stamps and assistance that should only be temporary but many stay on them for years, even decades. Tells me a lot about your government.
not my goverment, but anyway, tells you what exactly ? and if you can help them without government...why can't you help them while there is still a government, or are you putting your political agenda before helping the needy ?
We do help whenever we are in the position to help. The government has little to no influence on our lives. Is it not the goal of the government to keep people eating out of their hands? People feel as if they need the government because the government continues to give handouts at the expense of the taxpayer. Instead of working or bartering to support themselves, they don’t change their situation because why would they??
So god wishes you to force the government to abandon the welfare state and remove the help from all the infirm and homeless and people who need help ?
I believe that in an anarchal society, people would help each other. Would you do nothing?
I do many things, but you expect us to believe that human nature has evolved to such an extent that the anarchists would volunteer to help ? People are sadly selfish, people dont help now
Well we do have to deal with the individual I reckon. In some societies I'm sure there would be plenty of helpful people, but in others I believe the homeless would sadly suffer a horrible fate.
Yeah bro, it sounds like you're a greedy person who wouldn't help anyone. Most of us want to take care of those in real need. You'd better rethink your position here.
No, Im not greedy in the slightest, Ive spent my whole life helping people. Im questioning how in your libertarian , anarchist, voluntartist utopia would things be different? You hate paying taxes, but you would happily give help to the millions of needy ?
....and Id suggest not making false assumptions .
sounds a bit controlling, are you my boss ?
You dont want to be controlled by government but youre happy to be controlled by religion? how does that make sense ?
You have no idea what you're talking about. It's sad.
so why don't you explain it to me ?
It doesn't even sound like you took any time to see if we've covered these topics or not in our past studies. We covered all of Peter's Epistles earlier this year. You're welcome to get your BIBLE & give it a watch. This channel is not for you if you don't want to put in that minimal amount of work. If you are willing to roll up your sleeves & work on learning the TRUTH of our FATHERS WORD then, by all means, join in the conversation. We'd love to have you.
I own 18 different bibles of various denominations...which do you follow ?
We don't subscribe to any denomination, we're just students of the TEXT. We use the Companion BIBLE with scholarly notes added by E.W.Bullenger. It's a King James A.V. The K.J.V. is what we suggest folks use while studying with us as it's keyed to the Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of BIBLE Words. Those two books plus a Smith's BIBLE dictionary will give you the tools you need to do in-depth studies with us. If you prefer digital you can replace the Strongs Concordance with e-sword of apple or my-sword for android, they are free to download & I have never seen them variate from Dr.Strongs original work. I hope this helps & I'm looking forward to you joining the fun.
