There are several directions I can go with that comment. In the end, it all comes down to an individuals goals, desires and risk tolerance.
When I was trading full time on a prop desk 100% of my available investment capital was in my trading account. Now, that I am more of a passive investor I'm diversified as that suits my current goals.
Ive got an awesome article about not diversifying on my laptop. I'll try to remember to sent it to you when I can access it. I think you'd enjoy the read.
