Actualmente conocemos a varias personas que están enfermas, incluso algunos hemos vivido lo que es estar enfermo, pero ¿por qué Dios deja que pasemos por esos momentos difíciles ?

“Oyéndolo Jesús, dijo: Esta enfermedad no es para muerte, sino para la gloria de Dios, para que el Hijo de Dios sea glorificado por ella.”
‭‭S. Juan‬ ‭11:4‬ ‭

Será que un cristiano nunca se enferma? O será que Dios no ama a los que se enferman?
Pues esto NO es así, porque en este versículo que acabamos de leer el contexto era cuando Lázaro estaba muy enfermo, pero en la biblia leemos que Jesus lo amaba:

“Y amaba Jesús a Marta, a su hermana y a Lázaro.” S. Juan‬ ‭11:5‬ ‭

Jesus nos ama en TODO tiempo, aveces nos preguntamos por qué permite Él que ciertas cosas ocurran, y francamente muchas veces no podemos explicarnos el por qué. Pero de lo que Sí estamos seguros es de Su gran amor por nosotros, incluso nos amó antes de que nosotros lo amáramos a Él.

Si estás pasando por un mal momento, no huyas de su amor, más bien acércate confiadamente y preséntale tus problemas y tus temores a Dios. En estas dificultades es donde se prueba nuestra fe y nos lleva a postrarnos sobre nuestras rodillas.

Es allí en la situación más difícil, en el valle de sombra de muerte, donde debemos aprender a confiar en Él. Las pruebas nos enseñan paciencia y a poder descansar en Dios. Nunca olvides que todas las cosas ayudan para bien, a aquellos que aman a Dios. (Romanos 8:28)

¡Ve más allá de la prueba! El Señor permite todo con un propósito, bien sea moldear nuestro carácter, hacernos confiar más en El, o admirar su gran poder.

Recuerda lo que Jesus dijo: “Esta enfermedad no es para muerte, sino para la gloria de Dios".

Ora:

Dios cuida mi corazón, tu conoces mis temores, tu conoces mis pensamientos más íntimos, te entrego cada preocupación, permíteme descansar por las noches, lléname de paz, sólo tú, Jesus, me haces vivir confiado, hoy mi corazón lo llenas de alegría y gozo porque no confiaré más en mi propia fuerza, sino que tengo en quien confiar, y eres Tú, el Rey todopoderoso, de ti soy totalmente dependiente, gracias por amarme tanto.

Currently we know several people who are sick, some of us have even lived what it is to be sick, but why does God let us go through those difficult times?

"When Jesus heard it, he said: This disease is not for death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it."
S. John 11: 4

Could it be that a Christian never gets sick? Or is it that God does not love those who get sick?
Well, this is NOT so, because in this verse that we just read the context was when Lazarus was very sick, but in the bible we read that Jesus loved him:

"And Jesus loved Martha, her sister, and Lazarus." John 11: 5

Jesus loves us at ALL times, sometimes we wonder why He allows certain things to happen, and frankly many times we cannot explain why. But what we are sure of is His great love for us, He even loved us before we loved Him.

If you are going through a bad time, do not run from his love, rather approach confidently and present your problems and your fears to God. It is in these difficulties that our faith is tested and leads us to fall on our knees.

It is there in the most difficult situation, in the valley of the shadow of death, that we must learn to trust Him. Trials teach us patience and to be able to rest in God. Never forget that all things work together for good, those who love God. (Romans 8:28)

Go beyond the test! The Lord allows everything for a purpose, whether it be to mold our character, make us trust him more, or admire his great power.

Remember what Jesus said: "This disease is not for death, but for the glory of God."

Pray:

God takes care of my heart, you know my fears, you know my most intimate thoughts, I give you every concern, allow me to rest at night, fill me with peace, only you, Jesus, make me live with confidence, today you fill my heart with joy and I am happy because I will no longer trust my own strength, but I have someone to trust, and it is You, the almighty King, I am totally dependent on you, thank you for loving me so much.
