Of course you can do this yourself, it is your choice.
What you can not do is telling people here on Steemit that something is fantastic when it is a scam.
Steemit is a place where people try to trust each other.

So, I have been doing arbitrage for 2 years. You can not do much money on arbitrage. You can make money but not much. One reason is that when the companies find out that you make money on arbitrage with them, they close your account. They do not like it.

The most dangerous thing is that now when crypto is popular they put in a Trojan in something you download and that Trojan will steal your password and everything to your other Wallets after a while.

Then they steal your money in the wallets and delete itself. Your money gone and you never know what hit you.

There is a altcoin named BATA, their Wallet have a Trojan Virus inside. Just as an example.

That is one of the reasons you do not have to download anything on Steemit.
