Announcing set of rules, payouts, guidelines

We have been changing rules and payout methods last two games, and we want to establish a set of rules and guidelines for future games so that we are consistent and there is no confusion in the air!

Following are the set of features you should be aware of before you bet on all future games:

1. Games that you will bet on: We will announce a set of games for every week on every Sunday via a steemit post. We take users input on the kind of games we want to select via our discord channel . We encourage you to bet on all the games to win more SBD's and upvotes!

2. Amount you can bet per Game: We allow you to bet anywhere between 1 SBD and 10 SBD per game, but remember the winning amount depends on how much we have wagered for losing team. So for the winners of a bet if the profit per SBD of investment goes below Zero, we will refund your investment without cutting any fee.

3. Can you change your bet to another team once you have placed a bet? : No, you can't change your bet.

4. Can you place bets on multiple outcomes? : Yes, if you see one outcome for the game is wagering more money, so if you want to place a bet on another option, you can place another bet. It helps to increase the amount the winners get and neutralize if there is heavy wagering on one outcome .

5. what is the deadline for making a bet: Bet-lines will close before 30 minutes of start of the game

6. What happens if the match is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances : Your bet amount will be refunded without cutting any fee

7. Where do we track the total wagered amount and wagered amount by outcome?: Every Sunday's post involve a link to tracking sheet, where you can track how much SBD has been wagered for each outcome of the game for that week.

8. Why is there a lag in confirmation memo on your bet?:: This is because all money transfer are done manually at this point to avoid any master key hack! So if admins are sleeping or away, you will receive confirmation as soon as they are back, if you have sent your bet before deadline, you don't have to worry. We will update our records! However, in future we will try to automate everything, so that its easy and convenient to you!

9. What is the fee cut on winning amount?: A total of 10% will be cut on total wagered amount:
   

   • 5% is the betgames fee , used to improve our service, to purchase SP so that we can upvote your posts more quickly

   • 5% goes to bonus fund fee, used to payout for users who stick with us for long term. i.e For every 50 bets a user played with us he will receive a bonus of 1 SBD

10. When you receive winning amount(SBD payout): You will receive your winning amount within 24 hour of the completion of the game. We haven't automated this part just to make sure we don't hardcode our master key/private key in any code. We take security of our account with major importance as users have lot of stake with us

11. What do winners of a bet receive? : Winners receive of bet receive funds from losers pool, after cutting the 5% fee and 5% bonus fund, if the betgames fee and bonus fund fee reduces the profit of winners to less than 0 SBD, we will not cut the fee, rather we will refund the betting amount to the winners

12. What do losers of a bet receive? : Losers of a bet receive upvotes from us so that they recover all the losses

13. Don't you think as the number of losers grow it becomes harder to recover their loss via upvotes?:
    Yes, we are aware that as number of losers increase , it will take more time to recover their loss via upvotes as our SP is low at the moment. However,

    • We think that in a way it is good for steemit platform, so that users of our service stay on steemit platform for longterm to receive their loss back via upvotes from @betgames

    • We also are offering delegation service, where we pay $2 SBD per 30 days for every 100 SP delegated to @betgames

14. What are the additional perks of playing bets with @betgames?

    • As mentioned earlier for every 50 games you bet, you receive 1 SBD as a bonus from the bonus fund we collect

    • If you stick with us for long, and if you are suitable for a role , we may hire you to our team as the need arises

    • If you delegate SP to @betgames, apart from 2 SBD per 30 days for 100 SP you delegate, you will also receive random 100 % upvotes from us for supporting us with your SP

15. Who are we? : Currently we are a team of 6 people with an average income joined together from Canada, US, Brazil, India and UK, each member of our team are working in their own industry and all of us have invested with both money, time and talent, all of us are working for free to develop this platform, so the 5 % fee we collect is directly going to purchase SP needed to upvote the losers and we aren't taking any money in-order to grow our venture.

    Each of us have come across different difficulties in life and have always believed in doing atleast one good deed. So giving back to the society is one of our goal, every year we promise to donate 10% of our income from any source to old age homes. Because usually when everyone focus on kids in need, people often forget old aged people, so we pledge to donate 10 % of our income as a good deed to the society. May that bring some smile to those wonderful people at old age homes.

    Currently our team members do not want to reveal their identity as most of people in crypto industry and betting industry want to stay anonymous. When we grow and this particular venture becomes our major source of income, we won't have any problem in revealing our identity!
