Man everything about that shot is world class. The model is stunning. I love the hard shadow on the background too. I never could get that look the way I wanted it so end up bringing the model forward to cut the shadow out totally. You've totally nailed it here. Great work!!

I just used studio flash light without modifiers at about 2.5-3 meters from the model up high and placed model right next to the wall. Even though i did it before, i can not nail it each time. And sometimes you want the shadow, sometimes you do not. And i am getting fond of this hard look and move further away from glamorous photography recently. Who knows, maybe i will fall in love with a soft light again some day.

Yep I get you. There's definite a time for both soft and hard lighting. I've never really been happy with my results on hard lighting but seeing examples like this done so well makes me want to give it another try.
