On The Road Again
I've been rather inactive the past month or so as a result of moving so much in Berlin, felt like it would never end, I'm sure many who have through the experience (more of a suicide mission in my opinion) can relate. I finally found a place and locked in the contract, I then believed everything was over.
So very wrong.
Ran into trouble with the foreigner's office as I have a rather unique nationality (British Overseas), and somehow they didn't want me there, total lack of care to read or look at anything properly. I assured them that I did not have European Union rights. Finally I managed to get someone to accept my application, only to be informed that I would not be allowed to stay past my 90 day grace period.
Shocking.
In order to avoid overstaying, I got on a flight to Kiev. A really beautiful city that brought a lot of unexpected surprises. Unfortunately I do not have any nice photos from here (go figure) to share with all of you.
Now I've ended up back on my birth island of Sri Lanka on the most beautiful beach of Arugam Bay..
