Bloody terrorist acts, attacks and bombings can not be endorsed by any truthful religion such as Islam, they are incompatible with all international conventions and standards, but also with the just human values, 'Islam that came as a mercy to the worlds is innocent of these acts in all its forms.
Islam being a straight and complete religion has come to preserve five essential things that are: religion, life, honor, reason and goods.
Many years ago I saw a beautiful green book with lovely ornaments. In the inside it said it was about the life of Mohammed and written by very learned people. So with a happy smile on my face I bought the book and started to read it at home.
After a few pages I had to stop reading. I was so apalled and disgusted what I was reading, the violence, how Mohammed took the wife of his son, how villages were wiped out, how Mohammed smashed the original pagan idols in the kaaba himself. I was in shock.
Later I bought the Quran also a translation by very learned muslim scholars, to see if the base texts of islam told something more peaceful. I was very very dissapointed again. Could not believe what I read. How could a God Almighty choose a person with so much flaws as the "final messenger" of his words. Hate and blood are dripping almost from every page of the book. "Do not take the Jews and Christians as your friends" ... WTF ?!? Holy book.
"Wherever you find them kill them" - About killing and murdering: "If you feel heavy, sometimes there are things that you don't want to do .... but then Allah knows better". "If you throw a spear it is not you but Allah that throws it".
Man, man, man. This book was really really sicko into the root.
And then the silly stories about Jesus and Mary, taken out from the 'infant gospels', if that isn't a red flag of a scam...
It may indeed be very human, as when we observe the behaviour of chimpanzees, the primates that are most closely related to man, they use the same mercilousness and violence against others or even of their own clan if they don't obey. So yes, Islam is very human, but I would say it brings out the worst of what is inside a man.
And the other monotheistic religions are not much better. They all think they have to conquer and dominate the world because they alone are 'chosen' or 'exceptional' or 'the only and final indisputable truth'.
