since you are really the only steemite I know who might know the answer to this. I just had 4 random steem members donate Steem to me in random amounts. Any idea why this might have happened? Kind of odd if you ask me.

since I have you and am on a roll with questions and neither one of us can figure out how to message on discord, who sets the buy/sell price for steem on the market? It has been pretty high to buy for quite a while now, I only bought part of my built up SBD at 1.29 and change. Last time I bought it was at 1.14 and before that it was below $1.00?? but it has been over 1.30, and as high as 1.50 for a while? what gives?
