Cara, eu adoro cervejas em lata! Essa cerveja é de uma cervejaria americana, a 3 Daughters que produz maravilhosas cervejas. Raramente encontradas fora dos EUA. Esta cervejaria tem uma história um tanto curiosa. Os dois sócios que iniciaram a cervejaria na verdade tinham um restaurante. Depois de iniciar no ramo cervejeiro por hobbie acabaram se motivando e em algum tempo migrando da alimentação para a cerveja.

Em quanto produziam a receita da sua primeira cerveja uma coisa sempre vinha na mente dos dois sócios, "Quantas cervejas temos que vender para ter dinheiro suficiente para colocar nossas 3 filhas na faculdade?". E a partir daí surgiu o nome da cervejaria. Acredito que com o sucesso que vem fazendo com essas belas cervejas que sem dúvida conseguiram muito mais do que colocar as três filhas na faculdade.

Agora vamos a cerveja em questão, hoje vamos falar da Rod Bender Red Ale, que consegui em lata. Gosto muito de cerveja em lata e tem sido bem difícil ultimamente achar elas. Cervejas em latas parecem mais aromáticas e saborosas. Apesar do nome essa cerveja se categoriza melhor como Amber Ale. Com espuma bem presente e densa, quase dá para comer com uma colher. haha :)

Sua coloração é um âmbar bem escuro e sua espuma também tem uma coloração para esse tom. A Rod Bender tem aroma suave de doce, bem caramelizado. Lembra bastante aquelas balas de caramelo mesmo. No gosto essas mesmas notas aparecem, uma cerveja bem doce, com um leve gosto torrado e cítrico no final, uma cerveja bem suave. Também bem legal para quem não gosta muito de cervejas comuns.

Dude, I love canned beers! This beer is from an American brewery, the 3 Daughters that produces wonderful beers. Rarely found outside the USA. This brewery has a rather curious history. The two partners who started the brewery actually had a restaurant. After starting in the brewing business for hobbie they became motivated and after some time migrating from food to beer.

As far as producing the recipe from their first beer, something always came into their minds, "How many beers do we have to sell to have enough money to put our 3 daughters in college?" And from that came the name of the brewery. I believe with the success they have been making with these beautiful beers that no doubt have accomplished much more than putting their three daughters in college.

Now let's go to the beer in question, let's talk about the Rod Bender Red Ale, which I got in a can. I really like canned beer and it's been really hard lately to find them. Beers in cans look more aromatic and flavorful. Despite the name this beer is categorized better as Amber Ale. With very present and dense foam, you can almost eat with a spoon. haha

Its color is a very dark amber and its foam also has a coloration for that tone. Rod Bender has a caramelized sweet aroma. Pretty much like those same caramel candies. On the taste those same notes appear, a very sweet beer, with a light roasted taste and citrus in the end, a very soft beer. Also cool for people who do not like ordinary beers.
