The five Tibetans - Tibetan secrets for health and longevity
I will tell you about an ancient system of regeneration and rejuvenation of the body - the Five Tibetans
To a great extent, the exercises in this system come close to and complement the knowledge of those who practice yoga. For thousands of years, yoga has evolved and the Adepts have discovered and linked methods that are even more useful and beneficial to physical and spiritual health.
The "Five Tibetans" or "The Five Rites of Youth and Vitality" are a yoga system of elementary energy-filling energies originating from the Himalayas. They were transferred to our western world at the beginning of the 20th century by a British officer who assimilated them into a Buddhist monastery in Tibet. The information about their origin is contradictory and no modern source can be sure that it is precisely when this system develops. One thing is certain - this is the last ancient knowledge in the treasury of our ancestors that has come to us in millennia.
Peter Keller was the first to write in 1939. about the Tibetan secrets of the spring of youth, and more recently Christopher Killam and his book "The Five Tibetans" are returning to the secrets of health and youth.
Endless many and disturbing logic are the feedback from practitioners of this healing system (including my personal knowledge). Rejuvenation, smoothing of the skin, darkening of the white hair, improving memory and vision, alleviation of the arteries, excess energy, weight loss, relieving pain, excellent confidence - these are part of the effects of Tibetan rituals.
Modern athletes would attribute the exercises from the system to isometric exercises. They actually help strengthen muscles and joints, improve flexibility and overall tone, but the real benefit of them is in strengthening and harmonizing the energy body - harmonizing the speed of rotation of individual chakras.
What is not usually mentioned in the exercise description is how important controlled breathing is to the "five Tibetans", whereby their effect reaches its maximum value.
But do not have more fun in the description - here are the exercises themselves.
According to the instructions in the book, each workout must be performed up to 21 times. My advice is to run the first exercise 33 times. The number 33 is not accidental, and the rotation so many times has a direct relation to the activation of the 12 layers of DNA (but for that in more detail - otherwise). At first, make as many repetitions as you can and are as enjoyable and as fast as you can. With practice, your muscles will become stronger and energy will increase.

The Five Tibetans - Tibetan Secrets for Health and LongevityLearn the "Star Posture" with very distant stairs and arms stretched to the shoulders height. Imagine how energy enters the palm facing up, passes through the body, and goes out through the palm facing down. Sami intuitively chooses which palm everywhere to turn. You will feel the hot energy coming from the top, but the cold - the one you are returning to the Earth. Extend the arms sideways horizontally, with the palm facing up and down respectively. Then rotate at your own speed clockwise. Select your subject in the room to focus on, or focus on the thumb of your guide arm to avoid dizziness. Breathe controllatively and consciously. When you finish the last spin, inhale deeply, hold your breath and exhale abruptly and vigorously while clearing the lungs. Collect the palm in front of the heart chakra (as a prayer).
The vortices of this training fit the most to the knee, the center of the heart, the liver, the spleen, the thyroid gland, the pituitary and the pineal gland, accelerate all the chakras.

The five Tibetans - Tibetan secrets for health and longevityI hope on the back with stretched legs, arms are released along the chest and palm down. With coordinated movement, pull through the mouth and tighten the lower abdomen, lift both legs and head together. The knees are upright, the legs assembled when the feet rise above the head. The chin should be pressed against the chest. The pelvis remains attached to the floor.
Inhale deeply and slowly put your head and feet on the floor. Repeat up to 21 times.
This exercise serves to stimulate the throat and the sexual center.
Finish the workout with conscious breathing - 3 reps (Shiva-Shakti Mudra):
- Stand with your legs open - the width of the shoulders. The knees are slightly bent and the back is upright. Inhale deeply by moving your arms up the waist with upward palms. Imagine how to extract energy from Earth.
- Exhale by pushing your arms straight ahead to the shoulder height: you give energy
- Inhale deeply by lifting hands (hands point 10 and 2 hours on the calendar)
- Exhale slowly until the hands descend down into two large arcs. The palms are down. The hands below are crossed
