Skin Care Products – Ingredients to Look Out For

These days finding out what skin care products to buy for your skin that is actually good can be an arduous task because the different options available are so many.

These days some of the beauty products you buy in order to achieve positive results may end up causing harm instead because, in reality, they contain large quantities of synthetic ingredients.

Have any idea what goes on your skin when you apply a beauty product? Do you go through your beauty products ingredient list?

Well, just in case you don’t know, or you are unsure, here’s a list to educate you on some ingredients that will get you the right results that you seek from your skin beauty ritual.

Coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ-10)

Your body’s cells make this naturally in order to handle free radicals, but production slows down as we age making the free radicals more likely to cause damage to the cells of the skin.
Skin care products that can be used with or without a moisturizer, like creams, gels and toners contain this antioxidant for this reason. The wrinkle around the eyes also known as “crow’s feet” can be reduced with the help of CoQ-10 according to one study.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic maintains the elasticity and moisture of the skin and regulates the renewal of cells. It occurs naturally in the human skin and aids for a softer and smoother skin by creating a moisture barrier when used topically. Unfortunately, it is usually mentioned last on an ingredients list even though it’s getting the limelight it deserves in the world of skin care.
I’ll personally recommend ethicare remedies’ Hyalu Gel if you’re looking to get your skin an unadulterated dose of hyaluronic acid.

Vitamin C

This is probably the most famous skin care ingredient. If you have to deal with fine lines, acne spots, and pigmentation then this stands as one of the best ingredient that’ll aid the job.
The potency of most products that contain this ingredient is questionable. Vitamin C is sensitive to air so products that claim to contain it may not hold the strength that this ingredient is supposed to give the product.
You can get flawless skin that is a wonder to behold if you use brands that are properly packaged – like those in amber-colored bottles, or in capsules.

Ceramides

Ceramides are a major component of the structure of the skin. They are natural fats that are a part of the outer layer of the skin, protecting it from environmental factors such as harmful pollutants by acting as the skin’s moisture barrier.
A lack of ceramids results in damaged and dry skin caused by a disruption of this skin barrier with signs of redness and irritation. If you want to give a healthy boost to your skin, you can get do this by using ceramides.
Peptides
Check to see if the product contains peptides. Peptides aid the skin increase in elasticity, develop collagen, and are responsible for skin that’s healthy and supple. Not all peptides are good. The skin’s layer does not absorb these forms. Check to see that your skin care product contain the forms – copper peptide and pentapeptide.

Retinol

Retinol is a source of Vitamin A to your skin.

The harmful effects of exposure to the sun are impeded thereby reducing cell damage.
