WHAT DETERMINE THE PLACE OF COGNITIVE DISABLE CHILD?

Cognitive disability (mental retardation) is a term used when a person has certain limitations in mental functioning and in skills such as communication, taking care of himself or herself, and social skills. Children with cognitive disabilities may take longer to learn to speak,walk and Take care of their personal needs such as dressing or eating.
Clinical diagnosis of Cognitive Disability.
These includes; Down syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Antism or Dementia.
Now that we all understand what i am trying to say, I wish to create a scenario in us. A child who is born with Down syndrome, if not look upon like a different person or treated differently will perform better than a child with the same condition but he/she is been treated different from a normal human being. A cognitive disabled persons if given the right training from their childhood, I think and I know they can be creative to do something logical and in fact be members of steemians. This I said because is not a moral end, but a cognitive end, just as beauty is an esthetic end. Many parents with cognitive disabled children always limit the child's freedom to thing and sometime they can lock up the child. I want to get everyone involve in this topic because I look forward to see a steemian with cognitive disability making creative, funny, hilarious and brain teasing post. As such I want us to give genuine answer to this question... Is there any moral justification for parents to lock up their cognitive disabled kids?
