My Everyday Makeup Routine
Hi Friends!
If you are looking for a little comedic relief, or are genuinely interested in seeing the products I use on a daily basis - then here's a fun video for you!
I've been really working on upping my editing game and so I've got a lot of fun little easter eggs in this video!
I hope you guys enjoy this video. I sure had a lot of fun putting it together!
OMG How do you keep track of all this stuff! It’s so complicated!! Great editing :) It is so fun to see all the tricks your are adding into your content :) keep rocking it @coruscate!!
Aww thanks for the positive feedback!! I won’t even admit how long it took me to make this video. Hahah
That’s the beauty of trying out new things though. They get easier with practice. I’m excited to start adding some cool new editing to the Steem sister show too!
Arrrghhh! Your Sorry Sephora pop up audio byte is the same noise as an ebay sale on my cell phone, so I thought I had a sale... wahhh
Bahaha sorry for the disappointment! That’s pretty random actually. There are hundreds of sound effects in iMovie - weird that I happened to choose that one!
I saw the thumbnail, read the word comedy and immediately thought of this old video that almost killed me from laughter.
Now, don't read into it please... your videos as always are lovely... I simply remembered this comedian and I wondered if you had ever seen it.
Much love!
bahahah I totally forgot about this video!! Maybe my sister @maryjaney and I should re-create it sometime. LOL
I dont think i ever came across with one of your videos. And it is strange cause i guess you arenon the hot section very often for what i saw when scrolling down on your feed. Are creating for Dtube or just double posting all you post on Youtube? (Just curiosity)
Thanks for checking out my post! I never used to add YouTube links, but I have gotten overwhelming feedback from the community that they would like to see that. Because of the sometimes unpredictable nature of IPFS, (or a slower internet connection) sometimes people are not able to play the Dtube video. By adding a YouTube link, I avoid discluding anyone who wants to consume my content.
I’m honestly just testing it right now. I started adding it in just a few weeks ago. Some videos seem to play fine for everyone, and then others have issues.
I'm really glad to see someone comment on that issue. I've been wondering for a while whether I should cross-post my video content (once I finally get some new ones ready...) between DTube and YouTube, so it's great to see someone note that it works for them to do so.
I bet DTube is also just about the only place you'll ever actually get crypto nerds to watch a video on basic makeup...
haha good point @nleseul!! I doubt many of them are looking for makeup tutorial's usually. ;)
Most of the creators on here don't add a YouTube link... so it's kind of a toss up. I do it for two reasons. First - people request it because sometimes they have issues playing Dtube and Dlive videos.
I also do it for long term storage. Dtube videos (not sure about Dlive) only store the video for about a month - where YouTube stores it indefinitely. That means that after about a month - my Dtube videos aren't playable or shareable. I preserve the content by also adding it to YouTube.
I hope that helps! Best of luck to you on creating video content... i look forward to seeing it! :)
Thanks! Yeah, if DTube doesn't store anything long-term, that makes it kind of terrible for a long-term content platform. Good to know.
That is a pattern I've kind of been sensing about the structure of STEEM in general... it seems like its algorithms really put the most value on short-term clickbait over content that remains relevant for years. But maybe DTube's current retention process has less to do with that bias and more to do with the site operators not yet having the massive storage capacity needed for permanent video hosting, I don't know.
All good. I was just curious to know if younwere creating original content directly for the community in here or not eheheh :) but yeah I get what You mean. :)
Yeah, I haven't really put much energy into creating a YouTube following. Although, maybe I should.
Seems pretty hard to break through and my content is really geared more towards the community and followers I have here. I just use YouTube as an afterthought to add to my posts.
This is the first time I saw your orignial face. You're really awesome. You know, when I was singel, i like to make up when go out. if don't, i feel unconfident, and i abuse comestic a lot. It demaged my skin. Then I realize that I should change my habbit. Now I just make up lightly, not too much. It make me more good-looking
Yeah, you are right everyday makeup especially for females is a daily routine process to make themselves look beautiful charming and extraordinay espdcially for special occasions..
Sometime makeup becomes also important for male same for special occasion in this modern world..
But makeup is much imoprtant for entertainers like movie stars, movie actresses, serial communities whether real or fake..
thanks for sharing this post..
So I guess you told maryjane how to do the makeup? :D -Would be funny for the sisters Show - what did i learn from my Sister?
