Favorite Apps for Beauty Photos

As a beauty blogger, you live on your phone. It's funny, people think I am always texting, but really I am always working. It is important to have your go to apps that help you get you photos edited and organized the way you want. These are my top go to apps that I use to keep my photos looking amazing and organized.

Facetune

So this one is a no brainer... it is pretty much Photoshop on your phone. You can edit everything in your photo from lighting to blurring skin and even changing you eye color. With all of these options, it is tempting to go overboard.

However, it is important to keep your makeup looks as close to what you actually created as possible. These options are there to just help enhance your already beautiful features. There is nothing worse than looking at an over edited photo and knowing it.

Phonto

This one is quick and easy! You can use this to put text over your photos. With so many internet trolls out there, people love to steal your photos. And a lot of the time, you probably don't even know it's happening. There are millions and millions of photos and accounts out there so it is impossible to keep track of who is and isn't using your photos.

I use this app to add a watermark to all of my photos. So even if someone is reposting me and not giving me credit, my username will always be in the photo so people will know where it came from. A quick tip for this is to make sure your watermark is in the middle of your photo so people can't crop it out.

Preview

This app is probably my favorite! As a beauty blogger, Instagram is a great resource to reach out to new people to get them to come to your website. However, you do need a sexy looking feed to hook those viewers. The Preview app can help with that because when you upload photos to the app, it appears as they would on Instagram. However, you can move them around and order them to you preference so you can see how our entire feed will look.

In addition to that, you can also write all of your captions ahead of time so all you have to do the day of posting is copy and paste it over and your post is ready to go. This app is great for organization and saving time.
