You don't get to see the years prior to 2016 in the collage I made below, but if you did, you'd see a big jump. Perhaps I'll make a post showing what Cathy looked like during that period one day. That being said, it is clearly noticeable that an improvement has taken place, & this is what Cathy had to say about it:
Becoming a Flower 🌹
It's a testament to how much I've changed in the last three years that a family friend who hadn't seen me in a few years asked, "Are you Cathy?" when she saw me today. Thanks to my king's help, my physical appearance has changed dramatically for the better, so that I'm barely recognizable. We started with me starting to wear makeup and get haircuts that were less boring and better suited to my loud personality. Then he got me to start styling my hair. Can you believe that I actually didn't know how to use hair products or makeup before my king taught me the basics, and got his mom to help me with fancier things? I'm so grateful for their patience, because I really am the most difficult person in the world to teach!
Since 2016, my priorities have also changed. I used to put dancing first, and wrapped my whole life and schedule around learning how to dance and practicing my dancing. I'd be at a different dance venue, doing a different style of dance, literally every day/night of the week, and I was rushing from one lesson to another, and from dance practices to dance parties where I intended to practice. Following my king has changed my priorities for the better, because he thought of ways to incorporate the things I'm interested in and good at into his plans, so that I can use my skills and experiences to help him, while doing the things I already like doing. Because he's considered literally everything, I just have to follow him to live a life that's purposeful and meaningful and suited to everything about me.
As a result, as my king has pointed out to me, I'm also much calmer and less chaotic. With the direction and purpose that my king has given me, and the order that he's introduced into my life, I have much less uncertainty, and fewer things to worry about. And I have my king to turn to when I have questions and problems, which is often. And I can count on him to have the very best solutions, because he really does consider everything.
I am so thankful to be his woman, to get to be a part of his daily life, and to get to see him every day! He's my sun, and his light is what makes me blossom.
