Yes you are right @ace108, too much water hyacinth like that will obviously reduce the amount of oxygen for under the water life, If not soon overcome this can cause evapotranspiration which means the amount of water loss will increase due to its growth so fast and has wide leaves.
Very nice. I've never seen water hyacinth has flowers but so over grown and i wonder if it will be a problem.

Yes, I heard it depletes the oxygen from the water which may a problem for the life under the water.
